9th International Conference on Multicultural Discourses 暨第十三届全国“当代中国话语研究” 学术研讨会 Theme: Asian Unity and Cooperation 主题:亚洲的团结与合作 15-17 Nov 2025 Co-organised by: Centre for Contemporary Chinese Discourse Studies, Communication University of Zhejiang/Hangzhou Normal University, China The past eight sessions of the International Conference on Multicultural Discourses held in China, Brazil, Holland, Romania, South Africa, respectively, have sustained the growth of Cultural Discourse Studies in the human and social sciences. However, mankind is currently again threatened with a centennial turn to division and confrontation. To endeavour to respond to this epochal challenge, scholars and students in the fields of communication, discourse, media, journalism, culture, international relations, etc. are invited to participate and explore, under the general theme of “Asian Unity and Cooperation”, questions of : · Asian discourses of globalization; · Asian discourses of the Global South; · Asian discourses of development, cooperation, common prosperity; · Asian discourses of peace and security; · Asian discourses of philosophy, culture, ethnicity, religion; · Asian discourses of digital and media cooperation; · Asian discourses of environmental protection; · Asian discourses of science, health and education · Etc. Notification of acceptance will be sent out not later than 31 August, 2025.
