Cultural discourse theory

Teaching target: postgraduate students majoring in foreign languages and literature

Teaching objective: to understand and learn the discourse theory system from the perspective of multiculturalism through the analysis of Chinese and western discourse studies. The course is divided into two parts: the first part, understanding the main western discourse theory, and understanding the Chinese language theory. The second part analyzes the bias and consequences of occidental centralism in discourse, studies the new horizon of cultural diversity, and studies some basic principles of theories and methods of cultural discourse research.
